I took my family to this French restaurant before a performance of the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, and we all agree that the food was very tasty, the portions were a bit small, and the bill was a bit large.
This restaurant only serves a pre-theatre menu between 4:30 and 7:30 for $46 per person. It includes an appitizer, entree, and dessert. However, some of the choices like escargot and duck, both of which we had, came with additional $3 and $4 charges. That being said, my wife's salmon, my son's duck, and my seafood special were all prepared wonderfully and tasted delicious. The portions, however, were on the small side. Good thing, the unlimited pieces and crunchy and warm baguettes hit the spot.
What's the bottom line? The food is good, and that's a great start. The service was wonderful, and that makes it even better. The restaurant is small and cramped, so forget any private conversations, and the portions are a little on the small side. Final rating: 4 out of 5 stars. It's a good solid choice.
