As the restaurant is located in the 35th floor of the Time Warner center the views are nothing short of spectacular, you literally feel inside a postcard. Very romantic place for either luch or dinner and quite a treat for the whole family for Sunday brunch.
Tip: ask for window tables no. 31, 32 or 33 for "to die for" front views of Central Park.

Located on the 35 floor, you will have a good view of the city, if you get a window sear. If not, just enjoy the light from the floor to ceiling windows. They offered newspapers as i was alone

It was sunday brunch and they only have 1 menu. There is a starter platter if 4 items - cauliflower soup, seared tuna, scallops, the last one i forgot. Calling them bite sized is an understatement, the scallops especially are tiny. Nothing innovative or splendid so far

You choose 2 entrees from a list and i chose the striploin and poached egg. The egg was good, and the medium beef was overcooked, probably because it's so small. They gave me another entree of ravioli and they came over to say they do this for solo diners

Desset was a duo of orange cake and peanut mouse. The cake was again so tiny

My german kabinett reisling was ok

Overall service was food but the food lacked innovation. And the food came quite fast, i suspect a lot of it was pre-prepared and comes out like a factory line

Fantastic service very attentive maitre d who gave us a great table after asking us to wait for a couple of minutes at the Bar. We enjoyed so much that we actually took longer than anticipated

Everything is a fabulous experience at Asiate. From getting into the 35th floor grandiose lobby to entering the magnificent dining room overlooking Central Park from its all clear view windows, you feel exceptionally well here. The food is an interesting Asian fusion I would say elaborated to western standards. Service is impeccable. What an experience! Highly recommended (albeit pricey...menus start at 90$ plus wine, taxes and tips)
