Had heard a lot and read reviews about this place. Prior reservations are highly recommended. The most famous guacamole was the best I have ever had. Freshly made warm tortilla chips served with guacamole was amazing and very filling. Tacos were good and cheese quesadilla was ok, not the best that I have had. Ordered the original margarita although they have a good selection of drinks. The bar is well appointed. The service was quick and attentive . I would go back again on my next trip.

I really liked this place. I wanted a good Margarita and theirs did not disappoint. The guac was as good as everyone else has reported. The tuna tacos, served in a lettuce "shell", were attractively presented and delicious. I ordered a cheese quesadilla which was not the best one I have ever had but neither was it the worst. Oh, and their chips are so good. I try not to eat too many but somehow the bowl was empty - quickly.
We sat outside. Service was good. And I would go back.

A reliable upscale Mexican chain on the east side.

Accommodating for a party of 8 and infant.

Drinks were well made. Guacamole and chips plentiful and good, but pricey. Enjoy their ceviche options especially the tuna.

Service was good and friendly.

Dos Caminos has one of those menus where you may not know what all the words mean, but you just know it is going to be good! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I know the guac is pricey, but it is so worth it! The drinks are great, apps are great, brunch is great, just the perfect place!
Decor is very nice, good attention to detail. It is a big place, so no problem celebrating an event or bringing a group as long as you have a reservation if coming during prime hours. Staff is helpful and friendly. They are ready to wrap up whatever you don't finish. I usually order a ton of stuff and take a bunch home because I can't make up my mind!!
Location is convenient to the 6 train, not far from Madison Square Park.
