Description: Dos Caminos brings the vibrant spirit of Mexico City to New York City. Serving authentic and upscale Mexican cuisine, including fresh guac, killer margaritas, and South of the Border staples like Asada Tacos and Mexico City-Style quesadillas. The tequila and margarita menu is one of the most robust of its kind. “Dos” has single-handedly redefined Mexican for Americans. Regular celebrity and power player pop-ins fuel a raucously clubby vibe, the sexy interior spaces impress guests for all occasions – private parties, client dinners, date nights and more.

Good Mexican food, the guacamole is one of their specialities. The Margaritas were lovely. The location is very beautiful.

After reading all the reviews for Dos Caminos I really didn't have high hopes for dinner tonight. But we were impressed!

The Ambiance: Interesting mix of families with kids and young professionals (lots of drinks all around). We sat downstairs...the place had great energy both up and down.

The Food:

* Chips + Salsa - Awesome chips...not greasy and perfectly salted. The salsa trio was good too.
* Scallops- delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the coconut rice was amazing.
* Mahi-Mahi Tacos - Really tasty. The tacos had a tiny bit of the famous guacamole and it was good.
* Accompany Rice and Beans - We don't eat beans so we got double rice instead. The rice was a bit dry but had good flavor.

(I heard that the guacamole at Dos Caminos is amazing. Since I was being cheap, however, and couldn't get myself to pay $14 for it, that'll be something to try next time.)

The Service: Our server was very sweet and helpful and appreciated her honesty and recommendations..

Bottom Line: Definitely want to go back....hopefully it's as good the next time around!

we stumbled across Dos Caminos when we where looking for another restaurant and where very glad we ended up coming here.
Everything from the service to the food to the drinks was great.
Although next i would not order starters and that was enough to fill us up.
Try the magaritas - you will not be disappointed

THis place offers very good service, margaritas and food. It can be a bit loud so its good for groups not so much intimate dates, unless your date is the boring quiet type...
