The queso fundido and guacamole were good. Other food was average and the tamales were pretty much all dough and no filling. Huge selection of tequilas.

Good drinks and an amazing guacemole for starter, but then the happiness stopped. I had a really weird "shrimp pizza" with tomatoes and mushrooms. The shrimps were overcooked, and the tortilla it was served on, were basically not good. It smelled funny and the taste was just horrible. I ended up scraping off the dry shrimps and vegetables. My husband had the chicken skewers and the chicken was dry and not tasty. To sum things up - it started really good, but ended with us leaving the restaurant hungry.

We went for brunch at Dos Caminos - it was very nice experience. It wasn't too busy and the entire experience was pleasant.

The guacamole was something I wasn't really prepared for, simply delicious and although others have mentioned this is over priced, I didn't taste anything nearly as good in my time in New York - so a definite choice if your going.

The rest of the food was good, but for me it was the service which stood out, there wasn't enough they could do for you, but not in a pushy manner in any way shape or form.

The drinks here were also a pleasant surprise, we were quite merry by the time we had finished eating - the cocktails were generous and strong - you should try the Prickly Pear - Hell Yeah!

I would visit this place on a regular basis if I lived in New York.

The food was good and my friends and I had a great time. But this is definitely not your typical Mexican restaurant. The food is very overpriced & whenever it cost $24 for guacamole and chips that is a problem. Chips and salsa are be complementary at Mexican restaurants. New York does a good job at everything else, but Mexican food is not their specialty. New York should definitely leave the Mexican food up to the West Coast states like California, Texas, Arizona, & New Mexico.
