Description: Opened in 1994, Nicola Marzovilla's warm and welcoming restaurant has been a favorite for 15 years for those in search of hearty, delicious Italian specialties. Chef Patti Jackson's celebrated menu draws on the regional cuisine of the Marzovillas' homeland, Puglia. Nicola's mother, Dora, prepares hand-rolled fresh pastas daily. The restaurant is famed for its all-Italian wine list (expertly selected by Marzovilla), and the adjoining Enoteca offers lighter food and by-the-glass choices. I Trulli is a popular destination all-year round: diners can sit by the glow of the main room's rustic fireplace in winter, while in the warmer months are treated to the lush splendor of one of Manhattan's finest outdoor garden spaces.

Excellent service and feel-good feel from the beginning on; no reservation, we changed tables twice due to cold/too warm air - no problem for the service.
Excellent carpaccio as a starter, afterwards a wonderful tuna, perfectly prepared. My friend had a nice, moisty risotto with lobster - excellent!
Even though a high level restaurant, as a client nice place to go into - also when you look for a relaxed atmosphere.

this is a solid neighborhood spot for an occassion; very nice wine list and sommelier who was helpful, great menu of italian food but price was a bit high; not a weeknight type of place but if you sit at the bar you could do pretty well

iTrulli is an excellent Italian restaurant in the Flatiron District. The menu selection, food quality and service are all very good. And the wine list is extensive - with many of the wines very expensive. So, ask for help - try the guy in charge rather than the sommelier - he can find something you like that is reasonable.
The restaurant is large - with quite a few, very nice rooms.
They are always busy - even during the week - so make a reservation.

iTrulli is one of the finest restaurants in Manhattan. It serves Italian style food with emphasis on Puglia. Service is excellent, the food is creative, there is an extensive wine list that while expensive also features some approachable numbers (it is Manhattan after all!) There is a wine bar adjacent to the dining room which is a small, romantic spot. All in all iTrulli is a memorable dining experience and well worth your dining dollars.

The atmosphere is cozy and the food was good. The chickpea fritters, calamari and artichoke salad were the highlights. Overall it was very pleasant but not particularly special. A fine choice, but would not go out of my way to eat here.
