“Cozy place off Times Square”
Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

We wanted to get something to eat close to our TS hotel. All the big places were packed and had long waits. We walked 1 block away and found this place. It was small and cozy. This is an Irish pub with food and the food was great. They had a large selection of beer too.

“Nice Irish pub in the middle of Times Square”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

Huge bar. Decent, affordable food and drinks. Good service. The location is right in Times Square so it's a great place for pre-theater drinks (that's what we did). It's warm and cozy inside with plenty to choose from on the menu. I'd go back for happy hour for sure!

“Casual Bar for Pre-Theater Drinks + Snacks”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

Fine place to drop in for very casual drinks before theater. It has a pub sports-place type of atmosphere. Nearby hotel provided drink vouchers and we stayed for an extra round. Wings are also half price (or was) during football games.

“Great for a pint, but lunch was just okay”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

Went to The Long Room over the weekend with my 8-yr old son. The city was very cold and we welcomed the warm confines of the restaurant as we entered. Being so close to Times Square I was concerned as we approached that it would be an awful tourist trap. However, once we walked in you had no idea NYC was just a few feet away. The restaurant was quite and inviting. More of a pub than a restaurant.

In the back is an amazing large, working fireplace with leather couches around it. I wish we had checked it out before we sat down because it would have been a great place to sit on such a cold day.

Our food (burger and flatbread pizza) was okay, nothing amazing. The list of beers on tap was impressive and the service was attentive. I would go back for sure with my wife or my children after they turn 21, but I would not go out of my way for a meal here.
