“cosy Irish place, good food, unique beers”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

Nice Irish pub atmosphere, friendly staff, good beers (including a unique Belgian Triple), nice pizza. A cosy break from Time Square's bustle for lunch, and presumably pretty hopping at night (although we were not there in the evening).

“Great value for money”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

Called into the Long room for an evening meal, as it is no more than a few yards from Times Square on 44th street it is easy to expect high prices and poor service. Not this place though, great choice of beers and good food that is both tasty and good in potion size. My wife had the salmon and said it was the best tasting salmon she had had in years. The burger was good size and cooked perfectly. All in all the bill was very reasonable when compared to the branded eating houses around the area and the service was good too. Would recommend to anyone in the area who is looking for something better than fast food in a great atmosphere.

“Good Pub Food”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

We went for lunch at Noon on a weekday. We ordered burgers and beer - there was an excellent selection of both bottled and draught beers. The food was excellent, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of this room, which is modeled somewhat on Trinity College Dublin. Service was friendly and efficient. I look forward to dining there again.

“Very Good Food/Beer and Location”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Ate here first time on November 2nd before Steve Earle concert around corner at Town Hall.

Very good food and nice selection of draught and bottled beer. No wine selection to speak of at all so if you want wine with dinner this is not the place for you.
Mussels in white wine were top grade as was the grilled chicken on focaccia bread. Baby back ribs were tender and tasty.

Good place to go before theatre or after matinee.

“Good but not great.”
Reviewed November 2, 2013 via mobile

We sat the bar with Dave as our bar tender. We ordered a couple of draft beers and asked for a food menu. Eventually, we found one on our own. We ordered buffalo calamari which arrived room temp. That being said, it was still delicious. We could only imagine how great it would have been, had it been hot. Dave wasn't happy at work, obviously, but we were undeterred from having a good time and enjoyed ourselves never the less. However, with the plethora of great pubs in midtown, why go to one where one feels so unwelcome?
