“Been sick for days”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

We stopped in for my son to get a hamburger thinking how can they ruin a hamburger? My niece and I shared an order of buffalo chicken strips and a piece of cheesecake. We asked for the hamburger to be prepared meduim....it came like shoe leather! The chicken fingers tasted horrible. We had to ask for the blue cheese and cerlery, only to get blue cheese and had to ask AGAIN for celery. The cheese cake broke apart like it was stale! Given all of the issues we asked to take the $16.00 shoe leather burger off the bill as my son only ate a quarter of it and hated it. They offered to make us another burger and would NOT take it off the bill! I am a top rated reviewer on this site. I do not review bad unless it really deserves it!

“Overpriced and nothing special”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

We tried this because the pastries in the window looked so appealing as did the actual restaurant but we were really disappointed.

We paid $4.50 for an English muffin that was barely toasted and plonked on a plate. It's not easy to make an English muffin look unappetizing but they managed it! My husband had a bagel that came with butter but to add cream cheese was another $3!! $3 for cream cheese that was around a $1 everywhere else we ate.

This was the only place we went where we felt we didn't get value for money and we wouldn't recommend this eatery.

“A real miss”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Looking at the menu on the outside, it looked quite good but a little on the pricey side, that and the fact it was so busy we saw as a positive thing...how wrong we were! We were rushed to our table, had a menu thrown at us and was then left for ages before anyone even offered us a drink. We were just about ready to leave when a waitress came and took our order. The food was very disappointing, i left mine and asked for a plain bagel instead, my fiance threw up his as soon as we got back to our hotel and felt much better afterwards. I would give this place a wide berth if i were you.

“Give it a miss”
Reviewed October 18, 2012 via mobile

Wished we'd checked Tripadvisor before walking in off the street. It looked like a good place for breakfast. Menu was pricey but we took that as an indication the food would be good. As soon as the coffee arrived we knew it wouldn't be and tried unsuccessfully to cancel our order. When it arrived it was a large serving but very basic cheap quality food that tasted like it had been sitting in a bain marie for hours. Keep walking towards Central Park and go to Le Pain Quotidien instead.

“Horrible service”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We have been first placed near the restroom's door, which bangs every time someone closes it...
We waited almost one hour for obtaining our dishes, and we finally obtained them when we asked again and again to have them. This place is completely unorganised and service is really terrible !

Happily the food was ok : we took ribs that were good.
