Awesome Bagels. We ate there every morning for breakfast. The egg and cheese bagels were great and affordable. Also had the french toast. Great Place to grab a quick bite.

Stopped in for a quick bite after a scenic cruise of the NY harbor.
After looking over the massive number of selections, ranging from a salad bar, steam table and many sandwich choices my wife drooled over the tuna salad sandwich.
We sat at the counter overlooking Broadway and 8th ave. which was great for people watching.

We had breakfast twice in Village 38. We had baggles and cream cheese. This was delicious and not expencsive with a coffee and tea you pay around the 7$. Friendly staff. You could get fresh fruits, sushi's, a buffet you can choose from etc. You can sit down stairs at a bar or upstairs. If I go to New York again I would certainly eat here every morning.

This is a help yourself fast food take-away. Good food that's cheap and quick. The cafe-takeaway-restaurant has a wonderful variety that should please almost every palate...sushi, chicken, beef, lamb. Walk in, look over the fresh food that's on display, help yourself, pay and your done. If you wish to eat immediate you can pop upstairs and eat there at no extra cost. Since visiting New York I have eaten at 38 three times. I'll probably eat there again.
