We were a party of 6 and none of us liked the food that was served. The food didnt have much taste and it was Very expensive.... The staff was attending us like if they were on a hurry though the restaurant was empty. There are so many good choices in New York that I wont bother to even think on this place again

Had a delightful experience here with friends after the theatre. Each course was well presented and delicious and we did not feel the all-too frequent pressure when a table doesn't order alcohol. The service was a tad bit unrefined but that did not detract from the delights that emerged from their kitchen.

My husband and I went to Azalea's on a Friday evening prior to seeing the show Wicked. We had a 5:45pm reservation and although we arrived early, we were seated right away. Our server, Roberto, was fantastic!! He made a tasty white wine recommendation from his homeland of Sardinia. He had great conversation and was attentive to our needs without hovering unnecesarrily. As an appetizer we ordered the Sformato (gorgonzola and pear souffle) The portion size was just enough for us to share. The Gorgonzola fondue base was delicious. For the main couse, I ordered the Spinach Ravioli that was served with a red sauce. It was a decent size portion and was both filling and flavorful. My husband ordered the Porterhouse steak that was on their specials menu. It came with a side of brocolli and potato. The portion was large and was cooked to my husbands specifications. Moving onto dessert, we ordered a panna cotta which was light and flavorful. It was refreshing and not too heavy after a pasta dish. We also ordered the caramel apple tart which was "ok." I also ordered a cappuccino which was delicious with a nice layer of foam on top.
Overall, we thought it was a wonderful date night restaurant. Kudos to the chef and a special thank you to Roberto for making the dining experience worthwhile.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are very glad we went there. Easy walking distance from our hotel at 8th and 51st, the restaurant is located in the theater district. The staff here were amazing, the food was fabulous. I had the fettuccini with bolognese sauce, delicious! A very special experience for us to eat there. Highly recommend it!

Azalea has a great location for those going to see Wicked but it is also cloes enough to the other theaters for pre or post theater dining. Very pleasant atmosphere, great staff and the food is wonderful, diverse and imaginative. Some of the best past dishes you will ever experience.
