Great itallian food at a great price which was just around the corner from our hotel. We had the special which was butternut squash and crab risotto which was fab. Well worth a visit if you fancy a change from the great american burger.

This restaurant is located right next door to the musical Wicked. It's small but modern, and the service was top notch. Food was good, especially liked the eggplant lasagna appetizer and the carpaccio. Porterhouse steak was huge and the grilled chicken delicious. We had reservations at 6 and were out the door at 7:45 to walk next door to see Wicked. Perfect location for pre theatre dinner!

This italian restaurant was recommended by our concierge at The Jewel and the food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Our wine captain was well versed and the staff worked very well together. So why not 5 stars?

We were expecting a two hour leisurely dining experience. After all there were some empty tables, we were there after show times had started and we really just wanted to relax and enjoy the evening. However...after a bread bowl was served, our applies arrived, and our side plates for the bread were removed. We were told our entrees were up 3/4 of the way through enjoying the appies, causing us to rush through the remaining morsels. Plates cleared away...no entrees. And did I mention they'd already taken away the side plates?

Main meals came along and as two of us finished our meal, plates were taken away and dessert menus placed in front while the rest of our party finished their meal. We waited for our table to finish eating, kept the dessert menus closed and sipped our wine. We were approached again for dessert ordering and we advised we'd like to enjoy our wine first. At the third inquiry we'd had enough and asked for the bill.

Like I said - great food, wonderful atmosphere, great wine steward, prices reasonable but serving etiquette needs to be brushed up. We'd try this place again, but would advise the staff up front that we want to stay longer than an hour.

This was the first time that I dined at Azalea and I have to say that everything was great. The service staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

We started with a warm artichoke salad on arugula and a pear and cheese souffle. Both were wonderful and were partnered well. I have had artichoke salads before but never warm and this was really wonderful. This was followed by three sampler pastas all of which were delicious but my favorite was the veal ravioli which melted in your mouth. This was then followed by a veal in white wine and a grilled shrimp. I hate to keep repeating delicious but it is all true. And I am a hard to please customer. The desserts were a tiramisu and a panncotta - both excellent. All serviced promptly, graciously and with a warm manner.

I will definitely return!

This restaurant was recommended by Alex, the Concierge from the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square. He booked our reservation for us and shared our celebratory events with the restaurant. We arrived a half hour early before our reservation and they were able to seat us without a wait and our three hour love affair with Azalea's food, wine and staff began! From our early entrance to our last good bye we enjoyed every minute. One of my sisters made the mistake of saying we were here for our "appointment" and the laughs went on from there. The Maitre D was gracious and kind for the mistake but because we can laugh at ourselves we all had a good laugh. When our waiter listed the appetizers and menu specials of the evening, our mouths watered just listening to him. The appetizers and meals were spectacular! Every bite delicious and perfectly cooked. The desserts were scrumptious and the free tiramisu and bottle of dessert wine we received for our celebrations was exquisite! Highly recommend making this a must stop for dinner in Times Square before or after a show!
