We went to Le Rivage to celebrate dad's birthday. This restaurant is on restaurant row in the theatre district. For appetizer i had the baked mussels and chicken cordon bleu for dinner. The service and food was excellent. The restaurant has a pre fix menu for about @25 you get 3 course meal. I will surely go back.

We had a pleasant meal but not all members of our party (4) could find a choice they were really happy with.

My wife and I visited this quaint French restaurant on Restaurant Row (W. 56th St)
in the Theater District for dinner.

The prix fixe dinner was an outstanding value in NYC - $24 for an appetizer, entre, desert and coffee!

And, the service and meal was excellent. I had the Duck la Orange which was fantastic.

The quaint restaurant reminded us of those on the French-Swiss border.

Give Le Rivage a try and you will surely say OO La La too! Bon Appetit!

Returned to Le Rivage after a decade to find the same hosts and same outstanding quality. Salade vert with artichoke first course, then swordfish Grenobloise were well prepared and beautifully presented. Trout also done well. Good wine list. Ice cream with cherries to finish. Tables are close together, creating community. Reasonably priced for NY at $39 p.p. and plenty of choices.
