“Real deal soba”
Reviewed January 11, 2012

You've got to have the soba noodles here. They are perfect with a wonderful dashi flavored broth. Nice selection of sakes. Very friendly service. Don't miss the pickled vegetable appetizer! Chicken yakitori was fine but nothing special.

“Poor quality for high price”
Reviewed August 29, 2011

I had dinner there in August. I dodn't want to have a big meal, I still had to "recover" from a soul food meal at lunch. So I decided to have just a seaweed salad (that was ok) a small don with sashimi (it was rather small and rice was warm) and edame. i ordered a coke and it was warm...price was high, service was a bit annoying and the undeserved gratuity (for 1 person) was included in the bill. No, I did not like it.

“What's more important to you...food or value?”
Reviewed April 18, 2010

They make their own noodles and tofu. I tried them both and they were very fresh. The sushi was average. I would recommend staying with the udon and soba.

Overall this restaurant had good food but their are better choices out there I'm sure.
