Description: It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization. 'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!' As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!' What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London! We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

If you have a large group (we were 8) and everyone is hungry....great place to go. It can be expensive as fish is by the pound - but the portions are big and group sharing is perfect. Wine list has some awesome Greek wines. It's loud and very crowded and you'll find there is no place to wait for your table so go and get ready to use your long arm and loud voice and have a great Med meal.

I do not know what they charge for dinner, but their $25 price fixed lunch is incredible. This is an upscale Greek/Meditteranean restaurant that has mouthwatering dishes. I had the Bronzino fish that they call Lupe De Mer, and it was fabulous. The wines ate quite exensive, but he food was at a great price and tasted wonderful. Great chic ambiance.

One of my favorite Greek restaurants in the city. The mixed mezze to start, especially the fried zucchini is an excellent way to begin. The fresh branzino is a highlight here too.

Only downside is the price. If you can get over that, you'll love it.

Be brave and try the Greek white wines. But maybe get a little help on picking one.

I love fish. If you want to go to a restaurant where you can choose your own fresh fish, have it exquisitely prepared, and enjoy it with some simple, delicious side dishes, GO HERE. The last two times I went to Le Bernardin, my food was bland. Milos remembers to stick to the basics. Very fresh fish, beautifully prepared.
