We went to this restaurant solely based on the comments at Tripadvisor and were disappointed. We chose a time between pre and after theater dinner. Made reservations and it appeared that they did not have it. Did not even look at the reservations book. It was crowded and loud, which I do not usually mind but one of the reason we went was because there was a review that it was quaint and with Sinatra music in the background and the owner would go through the tables. Well the apparent owner went around to a couple of tables and then spent what appeared to be the rest of the night in this one table and there was no way to hear whether or not there was music. The food was a bit bellow average, at best but I have to say that the capresse was quite good. The linguini al vongole, on the other hand, was bland and did not taste like anything. The chicken parmesan was just plain. Service was ok but they had to go through and on top of us to get to an adjacent table and through another table and on top of those to get to us. Not the waiters' fault though. Honestly, with so many Italian restaurant in NYC, I will try others the next times around.
