“sandwich cubano riquíssimo”
Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

That is one delicious Cuban sandwich they serve. They add pepperoni, so it is just a bit saltier than your standard cubano. Coffee is good, too, but make sure to ask them not to steam the milk too long or you will get milk that is nearly boiling. Very inexpensive. Friendly staff.

Please go and visit this wonderful little cuban restaurant. Simple, delicious food, friendly service, homey atmosphere, reasonable prices. One of my favorite restaurants in New York City.

“Tastes homemade”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

This place was a excellent find. Inexpensive, great portions, and great flavor. The staff was very friendly. It's small so it may be too crowded during the lunch crowd. Don't be fooled by its appearance....it's delicious!

“A little gem just off of Times Sq”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Found this place only thanks to Lonely Planet, this is not standard tourist fare.

Instead you'll find a narrow, functional cafe with friendliness behind the counter. The menu looks to have a few standard & a rotating daily specials board. I went for the LP recommendation, Cubano sandwich, my wife went for garlic cooked Ham.

Both were exceptional & accompanied by massive sides (the plantain was superb). Think the total between us was just shy of $25. Excellent value if you are looking for an alternative to the usual suspects close to Times Sq,
