“Waitress pleasant, food mediocre, management handling problem - atrocious!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

We went to this restaurant on a recommendation…. worst experience ever! Food quality ranged from fair to poor. We ordered the theatre menu to be quick - OVER 1 HOUR to get our food and it was cold!! Dessert was awful - creme brûlée tasteless. The waitress told us she got the manager involved in trying to get our food out - manager never spoke to us until three other incidents happened. Then she was unprofessional - blamed it on the waitress and told us she would bring our concerns to the kitchen. Huh? And how does that help us? Finally we were able to leave 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES after sitting down - and still our coffee/tea not served but we had a show to go to.

“Great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

They had a pretty extensive beer and scotch selection so that was impressive, but the prices were a bit on the high side though I should expect that for being right by Times Square. The service was good and the girls were cute which is always a plus. This is a nice quiet escape from the bustle of Times Square.

“SCOTTISH BAR”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014

A very nice and friendly bar which serves good beer and also has a lovely restaurant with really nice food.
The staff are very nice and the men behind the bar wear kilts ( for the ladies ) and it has quite a range of spirits to choose from.

“Wonderful lunch in convenient midtown location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

My husband and I had a great lunch here on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The atmosphere is that of a cozy pub (with golf and Scotch as an interesting sub theme), service was friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent! I had the pan-seared scallops with wild mushroom risotto, while my husband ordered the lunch special pasta, a lobster ravioli. Both were wonderful. The yellow cherry tomatoes used in both dishes deserve special mention; they were bursting with flavor! Didn't have the opportunity to try either desserts or their encyclopedic Scotch list. We will definitely come back again when we're in New York.

“Scotch Pie in New York”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

This is a great find, conveniently sited just off Times Square. Friendly staff, great range of drinks and food. Wifi great for catching up with what's going on elsewhere.

Serves haggis and other Scottish delicacies and the Scotch Pie was very authentic. Good value and unreserved recommendation.
