Description: Nha Trang One is family-owned and operated serving authentic, Vietnamese cuisine. Located in downtown New York City, we offer authentic and traditional dishes at affordable prices in a friendly atmosphere. Like in all traditional Vietnamese food, we use a diverse range of herbs and spices including lemongrass, mint, cilantro, Thai basil, and more.

Restaurant rated by Zagat. We were pleasantly surprised. The waiters were very friendly, the food was served very fast. It was for the first time that I ate at a Vietnamese restaurant. I had a shrimp springroll and noodle soup with beef and it was served with fresh soy sprouts, lime and freh basil on the side. It was very good and tasted delicious. And the prizes are surprisingly low. I also liked that we coud just sit and talk after we had finished our meal and nobody bothered us or pushed us to pay and leave.

Met up with a friend while visiting New York and he insisted that we have lunch at this Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. It is not a fancy joint but my friend is Vietnamese so I trust him when it comes to his country's food. Plenty of seating so we basically sat ourselves. Server was very swift and friendly. We ordered couple of appetizers, Goi cuon (summer rolls) 2 per order and Cha gio (fried spring rolls) 4 per order. Excellent flavor and well prepared. Then we each ordered Pho Dac Biet (rice noodles soup with beef brisket, eyeround, tendon & omoza). Wow..we were in for a treat! Piping hot broth, fresh noodles and hearty slices of meat. It was served in a large bowl and its enough for 2 people or just a meal itself. Thank God we planned to walk around on Broadway and shop cause we were so full and needed to digest :) Spent shy of 20 bucks for both and couldn't find any reason not to praise this joint. Take Canal station then after devouring their huge portions...walk from Broadway to Union Square to help your body digest :)

The Pho soup was excellent but a little small It was cheap and delicious. A great stop on a cold Saturday in December. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Vietnamese Pho and spring rolls. Service was also very accommodating.

This restaurant looks cheap, has nothing fancy, but is quite one of the most interesting in Chinatown. The menu is long and has a variety of different dishes. It's a mix of vietnamese dishes and also chinese dishes. They have a nice Pho as well as very good vermicelli bowls. The combo one was my favourite: it has grilled meat as well as nems. I also tried a Sate Pho, which was very creamy but interesting as well.
The price is very cheap, so do not expect too much service. But if you are used to Chinatown, let'say that their service is one of the best around here... And the food is very good compared to the price!!!
