This is a family type restaurant in the Gramercy Park section of Manhattan. We went with friends to celebrate the new year after making reservations. The decor is outstanding with plentiful christmas lights and decor, you almost need sunglasses. The feeling is warm and cozy, since the seats are small and you are forced to sit very close to each other. We liked the potato pancakes and the apple strudel was excellent, large, warm and yummy with lots of raisins and nuts; however the main course the schnitzels were tasteless, although my husband ordered the veal (spaetzel) and he liked it. Drinks were good but pricey. They charge 13$ for a beer and/or wine.
