“Our special place for breackfast in Manhattan”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

Eisenber has been our breackfast place when we were in NY. We've taken almost everithing in the menu and we've appreciated all.
Pankes were served hot, and they were a loooot and very tasty. Eggs & bacon well done and crunchy; coffee refilled every time we ask for and price/quality ratio is also good.
If you stay in Chelsea area and you are looking for a good place to take everyday breackfast just go to Eisenberg.

“Authentic and Deli-cious”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

So I'm always on the hunt for authentic little diners and deli's. No chain restaurant nonesense where possible. This little 'stall at the counter' type deli/sandwich bar is great on price, authenticity, speed and taste. No complaints here. Thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich.

“An American Classic”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Eisenberg's is vintage New York---a long counter with two dozen swiveling stools, and an even longer menu with just about every comfort food dish you can imagine. If you're craving a Reuben and a lime rickey, or all-day breakfast paired with an egg cream, this is the place. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable.

“Old fashioned goodness...”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Just back from the Flatiron area in NYC . Found Eisenbergs on our first day there while looking for a breakfast place for the next morning . Had a simple hot breakfast three mornings in a row. It was fast, delicious and as a bonus the staff was friendly. It is NOT an upscale trendy restaurant but something out of the past that has lasted because of its uncomplicated food and good service. Loved the step back in time !!

“Eat with Your Grandfather”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

Maybe your grandfather could make it to lunch, but you can picture him eating here. They probably have not painted the place since his last visit! Fortunately, the food is fresh and quick, and the menu has something for everyone. I personally liked that I could get a nice omelet for lunch. The pickles on every table are very good as well.

TIP: The place is long and narrow. Don't panic if you don't immediately see a spot - just keep walking towards the back.
