Description: Chef Lauren Hirschberg prepares seasonal inspired dishes at Tom Colicchio’s casual Flatiron restaurant. The menu features a wide variety of small & large plates from Snacks, House-Made Charcuterie, Salumi, Artisanal Cheeses, Salads as well as Handmade Pastas, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The rustic and comfortable dining room lends itself to a quick lunch where guests can try our Croque Monsieur, a full dinner of Choucroute Garnie and Ricotta Ravioli, or a snack of Pecorino Arancini and East Coast Oysters. We are also serving a soul-satisfying brunch with dishes like Pork Scrapple & Eggs and our Applewood Smoked Salmon prepared in-house. Be sure to save room for Pastry Chef, Abby Swain’s creations including her take on the S’mores Tart.

“Unique and delicious”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Ok so it is pricey and portions are small but it is worth it. The wait staff are charming.
Chic atmosphere. Good wine by the glass. Not for finicky eaters. Seasonal menu. We enjoyed our jar of pickles especially.

“Great food in a relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

More casual than Craft, but still has an upscale feel - comfy seating, soft lighting, jazz soundtrack and good service. The food was tasty and unpretenious. Started with the cheese board which was quite good. Of the entrees the Amish chicken with ricotta gnocchi and the duck confit were excellent. Portions are generous. Desserts were good but nothing special Good wine list. Someone commented in their review that they were rushed, but we didn't have that experience at all.

“An excellent meal, cool decor!”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Very, very good. Beautifully cooked and presented food. A lovely Riesling as well. Three of us had different entrees - chicken, halibut and veal meatballs and all were very good. My heirloom tomato appetizer was stupendous!

“All the flavor of craft' but more casual”
Reviewed August 30, 2012 via mobile

Unplanned visit turned into great meal. Chose craftbar while out walking after day at US Open & not really up for big meal or dressed for. Got great food, olive plate w drinks &share a great fresh corn stuffed pasta dish, then kielbasa/pork belly/ & sauerkraut One really different & one comfort dish. All w 2 cocktails&2 beers for $100, May sound high but NYC & destination restaurant's food!
