The front desk hostess was very nice, although we did not have a reservation and there were 8 of us @ 8:30 PM. this is normally not the case in NYC, but in this case, we felt very welcomed although we were walk-ins. The wait took about 25 min, and got sat at our table. We ordered several dishes, but one of the best by far, the WHITE TRUFFLED PIZZA !!! It's a must. Desserts did not sound so great, but were amazing when we tasted them. Service was also very good. An overall great experience. I have been to this restaurant many times over the past year, and we have always had a great experience.

We decided to try this restaurant for lunch based on a friend's recommendation. We have eaten at other Jean-Georges restaurants and always enjoyed them. This is a farm to table menu making it a little different.

We went on a Monday afternoon right when they opened because we did not have a reservation. I suggest reservations if you plan to go there. Even on a Monday, we waited a good hour before we were seated.

There were several large tables that people seemed to reserve for having special events. We were seated in a row of 2 seat tables. You will love it or hate it. You get to know the people on both sides of you very well. Everyone was friendly exchanging recommendations off the menu.

We asked the waitress what her recommendations would be and we took all but one of them which turned out to be good, just not as good as the rest. We started with the roasted kabocha squash toast, and the Roast Carrot And Avocado Salad. The toast was surprisingly our favorite. Very tasty. Wish it were warm however. Our main meals were Kasha & bowtie pasta with veal meatballs and the raw diver scallops. The Kasha and bow tie pasta was our least favorite item ordered, but still good. Just not as good as the rest. We finished off with the Salted caramel ice cream sundae w/ candied peanuts & popcorn which he serves at other restaurants and we love!

Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The service was good, but slow so you can truly enjoy each course. It was probably a little too slow for us. We were there over 3 hours with our wait and the meal.

Our lunch without any drinks other than water was $133. A little pricey but worth the freshness and the uniqueness.

ABC Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants in New York and we've been here for all meals. We especially like the whole wheat clam pizza which is amazing, but basically everything is delicious. The decor is also excellent and I'm sure you can probably buy everything at the adjacent ABC Carpet & Home.

Kind Bartenders, enthusiastic and knowledgeable servers combined with flavorful, well prepared stunning food make this place my number one dinner spot in NYC. Wow, how can a squash crustini appetizer taste so good? Try the sun chock appraiser too. OMG! We just wanted to order everything. And the low prices...yo can't find anything else this good and at these prices in NYC or Europe, believe me, we've tried.
So, put these folks at the top or your list.
TIP* Book ASAP as the word is getting around and reservations are getting harder to secure.
Please rate my review...thank you and enjoy.

I went to ABC Kitchen for a work event, and had an amazing time. The decor is gorgeous and makes for great atmosphere - lots of reclaimed wood, mismatched china and silverware found and flea markets, white washed walls - but it all managed to look upscale and modern at the same time. The food is fresh and seasonal. Highlights were spicy roasted carrots in a salad (seriously the best carrots I've ever had) and the suckling pig. Can't wait to go back!
