OK, this isn't 3 star Michelin type dining, but in its category I have rarely found better. Reviews on Tripadvisor rave about it, so we went to see what all the fuss is about. Lunch - midweek. We arrived a little early, but that wasn't a problem. The rear part of the restaurant appeared to be slightly more formal and soon started filling with business types. We were on holiday, so got stuck into marvellous cocktails whilst having difficulty choosing from the menu - too many wonderful sounding items! Starters of fish soup and a strange sounding cauliflower dish - soup ok, cauliflowers simply brilliant! Main of a staggeringly brilliant pork croquette and flat iron steak done blue (perfect). Finished with beautifully kept American cheeses and Mrs had something called a semifreddo which she enjoyed. All in all quite superb, service too, hit the mark spot on. 2 hours later, 2 cocktails, 2 bottles of wine, $261.85 before tip - and off we wobbled to the airport. Great fun and highly recommended. Tripadvisor, in this case, has got it right.
