Description: Punch Restaurant and Bar is located in the Flatiron District. Renovated by architect Jay Valgora, Punch Restaurant and Bar inspires you visually by its imaginative whimsical artwork and sophistication. Inspirational cuisine of Chef Matt Shoemaker's menu reflects his love of international flavors forged with classical technique. His passion for sophisticated-bold flavor is the hallmark of his cooking. At the bustling bar, you will find many original cocktails: Blood Orange Punch, Cucumber Tini, and a selection of house infused vodkas. French doors, cozy banquets and glowing candelabras create the perfect atmosphere for a date or dinner with friends. With warm hospitality and exceptional value Punch Restaurant and bar is a real KNOCKOUT!

“Good Food, Reliable Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2009

Really enjoyed the food (I recommend the hangar steak and the grilled shrimp entrees) at this Flatiron eatery. Good for a quick lunch or an early evening bite to eat. It's unclear from the menu what this place wants to be (Asian, Light Bistro?) but the food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable.

Situated in the heart the Flatiron District, this quaint and mildly known establishment brings upon it's cuisine that is truly inspired by the invigorating decor. The subtle yet vibrant flavors from their Crab Meat Spring Rolls easily paves way to various entres ranging from the Grilled Tuna Steak to even the Turkey Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Accompany these succulent courses with an avast wine list from Wined Up, you have yourself a fine dining experience.
