We had dinner here twice during a 4 day stay in New York. The fact that we went there twice speaks volumes regarding our experience. Very attentive - but not obtrusive staff , excellent food and a great range of wines. They serve a nice selection of bread and olives and a 'l'amuse' prior to the main meal. The waiters they employ must have exceptional memories, as the list of specials (not on the printed menu) they have to recite is truly extensive. We were made to feel very welcome on both occasions and left the restaurant feeling we'd had a great experience.
