“As good as ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

Prices have risen slightly, but by New York standards are still good. The restaurant is in the lovely Neue Gallerie, in a nice position. Food authentic, Austrian. The patisserie is outstanding! Dont miss out on it!

“A bit of old Vienna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014

Okay, so I wasn't around at the dawn of the 20th Century in old Vienna. That said, the wonderful pastries, coffee concoctions, linzor torte and sausages (if you like that kind of thing) evoke the grandeur of bygone days. Stop in for a weekend brunch or a late lunch, then view the glory of Art Nouveau Mittel Europa at the adjacent Neue Galerie. Then cap off your visit with an exquisite, but ridiculously expensive recreation from the gift shot. Paradise!

“Great authentic German cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

Loved the spatzle, asparagus with potatoes, and mango-ginger iced tea. It's great to visit a museum/gallery that has excellent dining options.

“Decent and Convenient”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2014

This seems to be a popular place...We waited about 20 minutes. Interesting menu choices and a decent wine/beer selection. Our food was good. Service was fine. Room is very nice. If you are on the Museum mile, it's worth a try.

“A great atmosphere and delicious cakes!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2014

http://www.neuegalerie.org/

When you have a plan to go to Neue Galerie or The Metropolitan Museum of Art, you can get this nice cafe for lunch or tea break.
We visited there on Sunday afternoon, so there were a long queue in front, but the waiting time was not too long. only for 15 minutes

There is a same restaurant downstairs, so if you do not mind about the location, you can go there too.

We ordered some chocolate and strawberry cakes and Vienna coffee.
The coffee was so strong taste, and the whip cream was really buttery taste, so I did not like it.
The cakes were very delicious.
I paid about 40 dollars for two cakes and drinks. That was so expensive.
