“A bit energetic on the noise downstairs”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014

I was dining alone and put between two couples, one quite loud and the other not so. The restaurant was practically empty upstairs at that early hour of 6:30 pm. The escargots were alright and the liver, which i usually love and eat once a year, was too rare and could not be finished. Should have gone with the pre-theatre at $19.95 which is what everyone else had!

“A taste of Paris”

Great neighborhood restaurant with the flavor of Paris. Been here many times and always have a good meal. Love the onion soup and artichoke. Had a special salmon appetizer. Wonderful!

“Quaint and wonderfully authentic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

Wandering down Madison Avenue it would be easy to miss this little gem in the Big Apple. Had dinner here with the kids off the value "pre-theatre" menu. What a surprise packet! Unpretentious, wholesome and exquisitely prepared food enjoyed through three well proportioned courses and complimented with a modest but fabulous wine list. Service matched the quality and purity of the cooking. Almost didn't want to write a review lest we struggle to get a table next time we visit from Australia.

“Parisian Loveliness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2014

This is a special little bistro, so cozy inside with a second level that overlooks the restaurant and a huge, funky chandelier. I dined alone but was entirely comfortable. The waiter was swift and attentive without hovering. He started me off with bread and chilled butter and a cool glass of Provence Rose. They offer a fixed price, pre-theater dinner of 3 courses for $20(!!!!) It was a delicious deal! I ordered fresh steamed artichokes with dijon sauce (delightful), mussels in a white wine sauce (plump and plentiful) and finished off with a caramel creme (divine). I would absolutely go back again - bon appetite!

“Raw Scallops Anyone?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

Great atmosphere and side dishes. Scallops a little raw for my taste. I think other menu choices may be great! Wonderful wine selection.
