We arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday night. Most of the outside tables were full, but inside was practically empty. For appetizers, we order a baked clams special and the Asparagi alla Genovese. The clams were just mediocre, but the asparagus was excellent with a great pesto sauce. I love good bread, and can usually eat a whole basket by myself, but I barely got through one piece here, as it seemed slightly stale.
For the main course we had the gnocchi and the penne with eggplant. The pasta in both dishes were fresh and well-prepared. My Italian girlfriend approved.
Overall it was a satisfying meal. Prices were reasonable and service was satisfactory, although not outstanding. Our main waitress disappeared when it was time for the check and we had to summon another one.
