I saw this place on the $40-a-day show with Rachael Ray back in the day. Great spot for breakfast and coffee on the way to SoHo for shopping paradise. I loved the menu, decor was NYC-dinerriffic...retromod...hip. A great spot to come back to and not be disappointed.

Went for a late dinner. Got the Dublin burger. It was absolutely gorgeous! Staff were very attentive, always refilling our water etc

Beautiful setting in a lovely neighborhood.

Definitely be back!

Just had brunch at an old favorite and it did not disappoint. We've been going for 20 years - discovering it when we lived in the neighborhood way back when. The French Toast is still awesome - it has won many accolades (NY Mag, among them, I believe). I was happy to see it has not lost any of it's charm. The Eggs Benedict is fantastic - freshly made Hollandaise sauce was just perfect. They also make an authentic ceasar salad that is delicious - -mixing it up at the table right before serving I was sad to see that the "Wake up Shake up " smoothie was no longer offered for Sunday brunch - please bring it back! This was a well loved neighborhood place went we started to frequent it. Even though it seemed to attract it's fair share of trendy folks and models, it never lost it charm. I have always loved the open, airy space; outdoor seating is available now. The service is always gracious and friendly. This is a special gem.

Popular restaurant for NYUcommunity because of location, mixed menu, good prices. Faux Soviet decor in tile, open kitchen. Visited after a 4 year absence to find an updated menu. Crab cakes ok but not MD style; friends calamari salad was tender, large. Good dessert menu.laid back service.

I've been stopping in at the Noho Star for 25 years. Back then it was a little trendier--always fun to see Lauren Hutton and other "stars." On the other hand, it's not as crowded any more and the staff is friendlier. Chicken with Lime and Coriander is fantastic-it's only on the lunch menu now but they'll make it at dinner. They have homemade ginger ale and other slightly odd soft drinks that are always great. It's not terribly romantic but other than that it's great for any occasion. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
