We were fortunate to get a last-minute reservation at Raoul's through Open Table during Memorial Day weekend. We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food, the excellent maritinis (this place knows how to make a martini!), the ambiance (dark with naked art, oh yeah) were all wonderful. It's very lively with Motown/rock music playing in the background, a fun atmosphere. Our waiter was very professional and friendly. I had the steak au poivre and my husband had the cod and I gave him half of my fries; they give you so many. Everything was delicious. I asked the waiter for a glass of cabernet to go with my steak and he recommended a French wine that was divine. We had a lovely banana bread pudding for dessert, a perfect end. We chatted a bit with the people sitting next to us about what they ordered and they were Raoul's regulars. I wish I could be! Loved this place; look forward to going back when we visit NYC again!
