“The prix-fixe lunch is superb”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

You will not find a better deal, or meal, anywhere. With 4 courses, amuse-bouche, 3-4 choices for every course, 3-star food quality, impeccable service, marvelous ambiance, this is just unbeatable.
My only criticisms: the osetr caviar was not osetr, but salmon. The wines are overpriced and sometimes below standard.
Nevertheless: just go. You will love it.

“Excellent Food, Service so so..”

The tasting menu whilst spendy was excellent! A shame the service was as polished as you'd expect in a place like this, and the host! Unbelievably rude and unprofessional.

“A good first anniversary.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

We got the tasting menu- my husband and I- with a good bottle of wine. The total came out to a little less than $900. It was still a bit packed for a Monday night at 830-always a good sign. Most of the staff was excellent and accommodating! The ambiance was excellent for a first anniversary dinner- service was subpar though compared to everything else! The servers were supposed to explain our dishes but one completely forgot! Another forgot to give us candles at our table. Another seemed annoyed that we weren't finishing our course quickly enough- enough so that he prematurely came to take out plates away. That's not something you'd want at a top tier restaurant like bouley!

Besides that- the food was amazing... And the ambiance was superb. I'd come back again! Hopefully for my second anniversary!

“One of the best meals ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. From the moment you walk inside, with the entrance room full of apples, to the restaurant itself, and the friendly and attentive staff, and of course the food. I had the 5 course lunch, which is amazing value for money, as you really get about 8 courses with all the extras, and for $55, with food as good as that, it is an experience that everyone should try at least once in their life. I have previously eaten at some of the top restaurants in London, and Bouley is up there with those. Just remember that men need to wear a jacket.
