Our dinner was amazing and the service was wonderful. The cheesecake cannot be missed! I will definitely return here on my next visit to NYC.

“Great food”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We sat on the first floor, where the tables were a bit cramped. The ravioli with home made pasta were superb. The risotto was a little bland, but improved with some salt. The Branzino was memorable, well cooked and flavorful. The ricotta cake was another highlight. The service was attentive. Overall a great meal.

“Excellent Italian Cuisine”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Excellent place for authentic Italian cuisine across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn on Avenue of the Americas. Beyonce and Jay Z love to go there.

“Frustration...”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We decided to find Italian restaurant near our location And Pepolino was the first in tripadvisor list. It's easy to find it, but it was the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant. We took a table outside, made an order and started to wait. As the starters we had a mixed salad (mixed grass to be honest) and tomato soup, maybe it was cooked for me specially, but it tastes like your usual tomato pasta from local supermarket. Then I had beef that was everything, but medium cooked. Dry even in zone near the bone. It doesn't cost neither 45$, nor 22,5$. My sister had a Toscana traditional wild bore. It was dry too with annoying taste of dust. Don't be misled, it is not a traditional Italian taste, I've spent a week in Florence and there was nothing like the Maremana dust in the traditional wild bore. You'll be surprised when you see the bill.
Prices are tax excl. and 18% (!) tips are already here!
You should choose another Italian restaurant if you really want to try something delicious, there are a lot of interesting places in downtown!
