I've stayed a few times since this hotel has opened on 57th street. It is new and still coming together. The rooms are very small but efficient and decorated very nicely. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is very accommodating.
Each time I stayed there, there has been a very minor problem in the room - chains breaking, lamp cords breaking, etc. If there is ever any problem, the staff will fix on the spot and are very gracious. I think it's a matter of getting seasoned.
There is a coffee machine in the room but not clear if there is a charge. The iron really can't be used because there is no room to unfold the ironing board. There seems to be a lot of construction still - the restaurant not connected to the hotel by a working door. Last stay there was fire alarm testing - was trying to do work and on the phone but was difficult. There is a very cool phone by the bed that controls everything I'm sure just don't know how to use it.
Overall, I like it and the rates are competitive. Looking forward to having all the kinks worked out but worth trying it.
