“We loved this place.”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

And that was a surprise as we were apprehensive about the esoteric food on the menu, that would not interest us. BUT, the menu is large and there were many options to choose from. I had an appetizer of sauteed mushrooms in a chestnut crepe. Very lovely. My friends had salads which were huge and apparently very good. My entree was spaghettini with a 1 lb. lobster in it (completely out of the shell). Actually the lobster did not have a lot of taste but the tomato sauce was the best that I have ever tasted (and I have tasted a lot). One friend had orcchiette with sweet sausage and broccoli rape which she devoured happily. Our third had mussels which also were out of the shells and marvelous. And the apple dessert was very special. We found the place itself inviting ie attractive and warm. Our only disappointment was something that others have mentioned as well - rock music played loudly throughout the evening. If they gave that up the place would be perfect.

“Perfect meal for one at the Bar!”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

I love that if you are traveling alone you can almost always get a seat for dinner at the bar if you arrive by 6pm. Anytime after is dicey. The Bartenders take great care of you and really know their wime!

“So disappointed”
Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

This was a very special dinner... My husband flew me to NYC and booked this restaurant for our 15th wedding anniversary. We arrived a bit early and were very rudely addressed but the cranky maitre d, who left us standing at the door with our processco. The reception area was chaos and we were buffeted around by staff and guests while we stood there, feeling stupid. We were sat at a table which was right in the path of the waiters who were rushing in and out of the kitchen past our table, which was very unpleasant. And what is with the crazy music???? very annoying pop/rock...totally unsuitable! Our waitress was lovely and the pasta was excellent, but overall we did not enjoy this restaurant and the exorbitant price was not reflected in the service or the atmosphere.

“Mediocre and expensive food at an unplesant restaurant.”
Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

We had Reservations and arrived on time, But no table available for the next 20 min! Not good! But it gets worse, when I complaint and said we had Reservations, the very arrogant host answer: Everybody does! Thats just unprofessional!
After 15 min we are seated, But it doesn't get better. This is suposed to be a Nice cozy place, But There is a very unsetling loud pop music playing all the time! The food mediocre...and very expensive!

It is located in the midle of nowhere! The cab just could not find it! And getting a cab home, very hard!

The sommelier though, is a very lovely you girl, who knows her job, the only good thing in this place.
