And that was a surprise as we were apprehensive about the esoteric food on the menu, that would not interest us. BUT, the menu is large and there were many options to choose from. I had an appetizer of sauteed mushrooms in a chestnut crepe. Very lovely. My friends had salads which were huge and apparently very good. My entree was spaghettini with a 1 lb. lobster in it (completely out of the shell). Actually the lobster did not have a lot of taste but the tomato sauce was the best that I have ever tasted (and I have tasted a lot). One friend had orcchiette with sweet sausage and broccoli rape which she devoured happily. Our third had mussels which also were out of the shells and marvelous. And the apple dessert was very special. We found the place itself inviting ie attractive and warm. Our only disappointment was something that others have mentioned as well - rock music played loudly throughout the evening. If they gave that up the place would be perfect.
