Description: Palma's ingredients arrive fresh each day from her organic garden and local markets. The menu highlights homemade pastas, fresh seafood and seasonal produce. Palma is nested on quaint Cornelia Street in the heart of Greenwich Village, with a hidden garden filled with fresh flowers in all seasons and a 200-year-old Carriage House for private dining in an elegant yet warm setting.

We had a fantastic dinner at Palma, really delicious pasta - Lamb Pappardelle and Linguine alle Vongole. Both amazing, but the highlight was the Cavolfiore Palma (sautéed cauliflower with
roasted pine nuts and currants). Unbelievable. A must-have.

The service was great, too. Knowing virtually nothing about wine, I asked some very basic questions about the wine list. No snobbery, just some nice suggestions from the server.

A great meal, start to finish.

Palma Is a quaint restaurant in the heart of Greenwich village with great food and atmosphere! Staff was friendly and knowledgable. The garden area is fragrant and beautiful with space for couples and groups. Even if you don't get seated back there, you need to wlk through to see how pretty it is. I loved the cauliflower dish which will become a staple and holidays and family gatherings. You can tell that they take pride in their restaurant and the food they serve. I went there on a food tour and would have loved to try more of their food. I look forward to returning their on my future trips to New York City! Give it a try you will like it!

The food at Palma is good. However, the service leaves much to be desired. We felt rushed from the minute we ordered 2 glasses of prosecco and olives and wanted to peruse the menu before ordering. From being pressured to order before we were ready, to the waiters trying to clear plates before we were finished, and to dropping off the check while our coffee cups were half finished, Palma does not understand the concept of gracious service. We went on a Saturday night, perhaps it is better during the week.

Go to this restaurant and experience a truly special place. The outdoor garden is so special and the food and the service are both spectacular.

I made reservations on Open Table here a week prior to our visit to NYC and didn’t know much about the place except for the reviews. We arrived half an hour early for our 7PM reservations and were warmly welcomed and seated. Everything from that moment made it an enjoyable evening. I had their Arancini Siciliani, crispy risotto bites filled with formaggi misti. Its texture and taste was creamy smooth. My wife had one of their evening specials: zucchini flowers. The zucchini was perfectly fried and served with the warmed cheese-filled flowers on a nice cold salad. Their insalata mista was fresh and crisp and generously portioned with enough for two people. For the main course, I had Fettuccine ai Funghi. Delicious!! There were wild mushrooms in every bite of fettuccine. My wife had the Pappardelle allo Spezzation d’Agnello, slow-roasted lamb in homemade ribbon pasta. She said it was tasty and very filling. For dessert, we shared an Affogato, vanilla ice cream literally drowned in espresso. We were very pleased with our dining selections and, would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to our friends.
