Kale is everywhere on menus these days. Not my favorite. But the kale salad appetizer here was delicious.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed some sweet treats, wine and espresso. The decor of this restaurant is gorgeous! Hard wood floors, marble counter, wallpaper, white french cabinets and twinkle lights along the sidewalk outdoors. Great service! Yummy dessert offerings.

Went on a Friday night - it was busy and we had the table near the toilets (which always had a queue) so not ideal.

Food was good and wait staff very helpful.

Worth a visit.

This was the place we had our last evening meal in NYC. The place was packed but luckily we scored a table at the front near the window. We did not have to wait.

Our order was taken relatively promptly and our lovely wine, bread and olives arrived soon afterwards. It was not long before our first course arrived. Delicious ham with tomato slices, soft yummy cheese that was topped with a wondrous sauce.

With excellent timing, our second course arrived and this was luscious tender Octopus. Wow.

Then our final course arrived. It was beautifully timed. This course was a triumph. It was macaroni with a truffle sauce. Words cannot describe how sensational this was, except that I hope to be be able to replicate something like this at home.

All in all it was a wonderful meal to leave In my taste bud memory, for my last night in the West Village of NYC.

This is an intimate corner spot on Hudson Street that is well worth a visit. We started with an order of straciatella cheese that was both unique and tasty. My entree, homemade pasta with shrimp, was close to perfect with a light sauce that was just right for a summer evening. My wife had a roast chicken that was equally delicious. The service was both welcoming and attentive. I would definitely recommend a visit.
