Myself and 2 others stayed here last weekend. We were VERY happy with our choice of hotel. The location was great. It was within walking distance of everything we needed (Times Square, Fifth Ave, Hop On/Hop Off bus locations, corner store, etc etc.) AND it was right across the street from Macy's! It was far enough away from Times Square though that you didn't feel chaotically busy and could actually walk the streets without bumping into 100 people.

The hotel itself was great for the price we paid. The King Room with Sofa Bed fit 3 girls easily. Everything in the room was clean and new. The hotel staff was above and beyond friendly and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The roof top patio bar made for some great view pictures but the drinks were a little crazy expensive (which is to be expected so can't really complain.) And the Empire State Building is right outside your window. Basically there isn't one single complaint about this hotel. It was great!

I would definitely stay here again next time we visit!!!

Room Tip: A room with the "upgraded view" looks out over Herald Square and The Empire State Building.

My three daughters and I just returned from a three night stay. We had never been to NYC and as first timers, we were very nervous about the location. It turned out to be the perfect place. We loved that we were close to the subway, Macy's, theater district and Times Square. The Starbucks in the lobby had wonderful breakfast items so we didn't have to leave the hotel just to eat a nice breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and the hotel itself was clean and we felt very secure. Our room was clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again for both the location and for friendliness of the staff. I will recommend this property to anyone I know planning to go to NYC !

We stayed here for an overnight trip to NY. Great location- walking distance from Penn Station. Even though check-in was listed as 4:00 p.m., our room was ready for us when we arrived (before noon) AND our request for a mid-range floor was accommodated. We had a view of Herald Square/Macy’s from our window. Doorman was so nice – pointing us in the right direction several times, as well as valiantly attempting to hail a cab for us in the pouring rain! Our room, while not large, was totally adequate and CLEAN. Small couch, desk, frig. Room safe, nice furnishings . . very comfortable bed, etc. Would definitely choose to to stay here again. Thank you to the friendly staff for making us feel so welcome!.

Stayed in the standard, king room.
Cons: It was a bit small, very little space to move around or put luggage. Would recommend going for a larger room if you have luggage larger than a carry-on. At night, I found that the traffic outside was very noisy (honking, cars/trucks passing). It can be hard to sleep if you're not accustomed to this noise.
Pros: Location was great, right beside the subway, shopping and a bunch of restaurants. Staff was helpful at check in and check out. Everyone greets you (cleaning people, security, front desk) even if you're just passing by, which makes you feel at home. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Convenient "smoker's corner" just outside the hotel so you're not in the middle of the sidewalk blowing into people's faces.

Loved staying here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi. Loved the comfortable bed! Very clean and well-kept rooms and property. It is a new property that opened last June. Loved the location. Adjacent to subway station, across the street from Herald Square and Macy's, between Broadway and 5th Avenue. Two blocks from Empire State Building. Walk to Times Square (13 minutes), Rockefeller Plaza, and walk up 5th Avenue to Central Park.

Room Tip: We were on 8th floor, as we had read that the top floor was noisy under the nightclub. Lots of street noise, but with earplugs, slept great. We had a nice view of Herald Square.
