“Don't believe in this... it is not a Groupon deal, as it should”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

it is a ripoff... 2 little pieces of cheese and 2 slices of salami, that is not what you see in the Groupon picture. They don give you 6 glasses of wine per person... just 6 Small samples of very cheap wines. Food was not that good. The bottle of wine is "To go" and its price is around 7 bucks... all that will never meet even a 100. Besides you feel like having dinner in a narrow garage!

“Great place for food and wine.”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

We went there as part of Restaurant Week and had their special that was offered for it. Great wine and the food was very good. Impressed at the atmosphere inside and had a great waiter. Would definitely eat there again.

“A nice experience”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Went there on a groupon, twice actually. The first day we went was on a Saturday. It was a very busy night, so I felt a little rushed. The wine tasting was fun, the food was very good, and the staff was very nice. The portions were not huge, but we left feeling totally satisfied, not overstuffed but content. The groupon was a great deal, (maybe a bit of a gimmick, but still a great value). The groupon cost $49 for 6 wine tastings each, an appetizer each, an entree each, and a bottle of wine to take home. Our second trip there was even nicer. It wasn't as crowded so we didn't feel rushed at all. The staff remembered us and we're extremely nice. And for anyone who complained about leaving a tip on the full cost of the dinner instead of a tip on the $49 groupon, well, they must be cheap. They include a 12 percent gratuity on the bill. We also had coffees and dessert and our bill only totaled $40. So in all, for $90, we had 12 wine tastings, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, coffee, dessert, and a bottle of wine to go. You can't go wrong. Give the place a try.

“What a ripoff”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

Does anyone pay full value at this establishment? We had a Groupon and the bartender/owner treated us like dirt (although they had signs for the deal posted everywhere).

When the check came, they added gratuity based on the full ($178) nominal value of the meal which was, to say, gratuitous.

Don't go here. This is manhattan. There are 1000 restaurants within 10 blocks with better food and owners who care about their patrons.

“Wine tasting”
Reviewed November 10, 2013 via mobile

Did the groupon wine tasting. Came with preselected appetizer and dinner. Tight seating. Decent food. Wine selections were okay. The choice of bottles we were permitted to take home were of lesser quality than the ones we actually liked during the tasting. Hostess was unpersonable and dry, very much like 1742 wine bar.
