Any establishment serving both Alagash White and Black deserves high marks. Mix the two for an incredible Black & Tan. A dozen quality domestic craft pours are available. Ribs were outstanding. Brisket was good, but I don't like mine stored in plastic before serving. Burnt ends were already sauced, but the server gave me a small portion off the newly cut brisket. Servers took care in handling the food table and I was impressed that they added fresh brisket juice and pieces to the baked beans. That's all we ate, but other diners food at the communal tables looked appealing.

My local friends took me here as they says this is the best BBQ in NYC. I wasn't disappointed and I spent the 15 min wait in line admiring the 10kgs on chopped chilli, the smoker, the guy who spent all day chopping cuts of beautiful meat. We had a third rack of ribs, wings and the brisket. All covered in glorious rock salt. They were absolutely succulent, melt in your mouth delicious with a great spice rub. The wings had a good deal of kick. Will definitely be going back in the next couple of days before I go home. Highly recommended.

Great place for great brisket and decent BBQ. They do not accept reservations and wait can be quite long. They don't serve any wine or spirits -- only crafted beers. Food is an amazing value.

Despite a half hour wait to order on a Monday night it was average bbq with a few highlights but a few detractors. Chicken wings and brisket were excellent. The meats beans were also tasty. Pulled pork was drenched in oil and ribs were abit dry but still great. Nice place with pleasant staff and priced ok. We were expecting bbq from the angels but was not as good as virgils we tried earlier in week experience or food wise.

Friends had recommended Mighty Quinn's as the best BBQ in the City. We have eaten quite a bit of BBQ in the 5 boroughs and don't feel that MQ's is in the top 5. On the plus side, the burnt end beans were outstanding and the vinegar slaw was top shelf. The ratatouille was below average and tasted as if someone accidently knocked a jar of oregano in the pot and never noticed. Of the three meats ordered, the brontosaurus rib was the best - tasty but nothing more than average. The pulled pork was less so. The brisket was, quite frankly, a major disappointment; it was bland and a bit dry (which surprised us as we arrived before the dinner rush at 5:30 and the meat shouldn't have been sitting around very long). Now please understand, the meat was not horrible: it just did not live up to expectations - or justify the prices.
