Description: Offering seasonally focused, contemporary American seafood, where only the finest and freshest seafood is highlighted. Guests will be enchanted by the superb selection of raw bar favorites and delicious appetizers which include East & West Coast Oysters, Chilled Lobster, and expertly seasoned Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. Entree selections are sure to delight, with succulent Alaskan King Crab Legs, elegant Herb Basted Black Bass and the menu wouldn't be complete without the addition of SFG's Surf & Turf - tender filet mignon and buttery steamed lobster. The sleek interior, with tile floors, shimmering blue lighting, and mirrored accents give the space a modern edge while the Main Dining Room takes cues from a classic steakhouse with dark wood floors, wainscoting, and a roaring marble fireplace. SFG boasts not one but two private dining options for more intimate events. The Sea Fire Grill lends the perfect balance to refined cuisine, chic decor, and impeccable service.

We hadn't booked and the place was crowded. We saw it on trip advisor and hadn't realised it would be so popular mid week.
We were offered a seat at a bar table or a wait for restaurant. In hindsight I think I'd have rather waited as the bar was noisy and the TV was on which spoiled the atmosphere a little
However the food was delicious, my rare filet mignon was cooked to perfection. My husband asked for his to be cooked medium which seemed to cause confusion (perhaps our accents) and his was a bit underdone but he ate it happily.
The desserts were amazing. We may be back so I can have the upside down Apple pie again. Hubby loved his molten chocolate pudding.
My mojito was a little disappointing as I'm used to them being sweeter, but it was exactly as it stated on the menu, albeit lacking in mint. I probably should have sent it back but I'm not good at that

Didn't have a reservation but it was Sunday night and walked over to Hotel. It was crowded but luckily found a table. Very pretty atmosphere. Fireplace at the end of the room but soft lighting and romantic. The selection of food was great. Good choice of apps, salads and entrees. Entrees run the gamit of good seafood(seabass, lobster, swordfish, tuna etc) as well as Meats(steak etc).
We had the chicken and the Black Seabass. It was terrific. Bread was great. Had a salad. The service was great. prices for entress are 30 to 40 unless you get a 2 pound lobster. Good choice for the East Side on 48th

Great atmosphere and very nice staff/service. The food is excellent and if you stay near Lexington and 48th it is a convenient location. You can eat there a couple times in the week and not get bored with the menu.

At the recommendation of a friend, we celebrated a birthday here on March 15 prior to seeing Jersey Boys. The service was outstanding, thanks to Aron and his very capable staff. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent and was the wine selection. Definitely worth a repeat performance on our next trip to the City. Highly recommend.

Seafire Grill is a new restaurant in Manhattan specializing in beef and seafood.
The have a nice wine selection (we had a Sancerre Delaport) that was a fine white wine.
The Ribeye steak was prepared well and cooked medium rare as ordered.
Grilled asparagus were only fair and for sure not worth the $ 10.00 charge.
The fish special was halibut over a short ribs with white beans. Wonderful dish, but where were the short ribs? I asked and found out the short ribs were used to make a reduction. The host when asked brought some short ribs from the kitchen and could not have been nicer. We suggested changing the description of the dish, but not the dish itself. He was so pleased he brought us after dinner drinks on the house, a nice touch.
