Description: Offering seasonally focused, contemporary American seafood, where only the finest and freshest seafood is highlighted. Guests will be enchanted by the superb selection of raw bar favorites and delicious appetizers which include East & West Coast Oysters, Chilled Lobster, and expertly seasoned Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. Entree selections are sure to delight, with succulent Alaskan King Crab Legs, elegant Herb Basted Black Bass and the menu wouldn't be complete without the addition of SFG's Surf & Turf - tender filet mignon and buttery steamed lobster. The sleek interior, with tile floors, shimmering blue lighting, and mirrored accents give the space a modern edge while the Main Dining Room takes cues from a classic steakhouse with dark wood floors, wainscoting, and a roaring marble fireplace. SFG boasts not one but two private dining options for more intimate events. The Sea Fire Grill lends the perfect balance to refined cuisine, chic decor, and impeccable service.

“Great place for seafood or beef dishes!”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

Great atmosphere and very nice staff/service. The food is excellent and if you stay near Lexington and 48th it is a convenient location. You can eat there a couple times in the week and not get bored with the menu.

“Very Attentive Staff - Great Atmosphere - Outstanding Food”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

At the recommendation of a friend, we celebrated a birthday here on March 15 prior to seeing Jersey Boys. The service was outstanding, thanks to Aron and his very capable staff. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent and was the wine selection. Definitely worth a repeat performance on our next trip to the City. Highly recommend.

“Another Steak and Fish Restaurant in New York”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Seafire Grill is a new restaurant in Manhattan specializing in beef and seafood.
The have a nice wine selection (we had a Sancerre Delaport) that was a fine white wine.
The Ribeye steak was prepared well and cooked medium rare as ordered.
Grilled asparagus were only fair and for sure not worth the $ 10.00 charge.
The fish special was halibut over a short ribs with white beans. Wonderful dish, but where were the short ribs? I asked and found out the short ribs were used to make a reduction. The host when asked brought some short ribs from the kitchen and could not have been nicer. We suggested changing the description of the dish, but not the dish itself. He was so pleased he brought us after dinner drinks on the house, a nice touch.

What a gem of a restaurant, impeccable service, atmosphere and food... just perfect. if you're looking for a place that delivers... this is it. 4 of us had a wonderful dinner before a show, the restaurant was accommodating even though we were late for our early evening reservation (I called ahead), service was always right there when needed, very attentive. the food was just perfect, swordfish, halibut, king crabs, ribeye... all absolutely perfect and all plates were clean.

Same owner as Benjamin's Steakhouse... equally as good so no wonder..

Don't miss the gem of a restaurant... I'll be back for sure. thank you!

“Declicous food, good service”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

My husband and I dined here after a Wednesday matinee of Jersey Boys. We were met with a friendly greeter as we entered. We had drinks at one of the tall tables at the bar and were given a basket of bar chips (which were quite tasty and nice to munch with our drinks). When we were seated at our table for dinner, our server was very friendly and we were not rushed into making our dinner choices. My husband started with tuna tartar and I had the lobster bisque ( with real pieces of lobster) - we both thought our appetizers were delicious. We had wine by the glass with our dinner. My husband had the cold lobster appetizer and a side of asparagas for his dinner choice and I had the shrimp scampi/linguine. We both enjoyed our dinners and as the restaurant was filling up, we never felt rushed and had a delightful dinner.
