Booked for four, nice spot right in midtown on fith avenue. Not a lot pf people quality of food was good the menu far from having unlimited choices . The oysters were good and expensive. A good but not unforgettable meal. Worth it for the location and the atmosphere. Staff was kind but not very efficient (long waits between one dish and the other)

This feels more like a East or West Village restaurant, in the family of Breslin and Crooked Knife. Consistently good, excellent fresh seafood.

I can say these were the best raw oysters I ever had. Of, course, it was the first time I experienced them. We arrived on a rainy afternoon and this small restaurant looked very inviting with artsy Christmas deck and subdued lighting. The appetizers were well prepared, including barbeques clams. Wine was reasonably priced and well paired with menu. They had multiple types of oysters from both the Atlantic and Pacific, very well described on the menu. Tried some from the west coast and they were very well-chilled, sweet and tasted extremely fresh. I would have adorned they were just scooped out of the oyster bed outside. We then ordered the paella that perfectly seasoned and included a variety of shellfish and whitefish, each with unique texture and flavor. The seasoned rice was mixed with teeny shrimp which also adds a lovely surprise to the dish. Service was very helpful, friendly and attentive.

This place is THE place to go, if you want fresh, delicious oysters. We had a selection and ordered more, because they are that good! Nice cocktails and friendly staff.

We expected better. They have some creative cocktails and the chowder was good, but otherwise we did not find much to recommend it. Service was lackluster (and it wasn't busy at all that night). We had asked for things to be served in a specific order but the kitchen didn't get it right (and they sent out the same clam dish twice). The shrimp corn dogs sound good but were a disappointment, and the grilled oysters had so much stuff on top that you could not be sure you were eating oysters.
