    No T-mobile connection in room

    The hotel is in a good location and very nice. Good, free wireless in the room. The only drawback is that I was not able to get any signal on T-moble in the room. I got 5 bars in the lobby, but nothing in the room or hallway. Had to go to lobby to make phone calls.

    Superb choice, brand new property, right near Penn Station

    Opened in April 2013, formerly a church, 23 stories, it’s a beautiful property less than 1 block from Penn Station. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, I had a very sizable (for NYC) King Suite, more room than your typical Fairfield. Two queen beds, separate living/desk area, two LCD TVs, small microwave, no fridge, nicely designed/furnished, clean and quite comfortable. 24/7 fitness area, small business area (3 computers), 3 efficient high-speed elevators. As long as your expectations are aligned with the Fairfield brand, this is an excellent choice. Fairfield Inns are not a full service hotel, so there is no restaurant, no room service, no lounge bar (although they do have a rooftop bar opened seasonally). You do get free internet, free breakfast (limited buffet of eggs, sausage, sugary cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread, pastry). Like most NYC hotels, it can be pricey. I went on a slow week and got a $129 AAA rate.

    'Great location'

    We were traveling by train, the hotel it's just one block from the train Station...Amazing great location to explore New York City, We were Meeting Fabulous Restaurant ..like Habana Central, Tick Toc and Tertulia...Divine experience ...I LOVE NEW YORK!!

    Great location

    We stayed here on November 15. Great hotel. Very clean, super fast check in and check out, comfortable beds, big bathroom. Continental/buffet breakfast is included, they have plenty of choice for breakfast. Subway is a 2 minutes walk for trains A,C and E. Will definitely stay again here and recommend to everybody. We couldn't check the rooftop bar because it was closed. I tough that because it was a weekend they will be open until really late... it's NY, the city that never sleeps :).

    AMAZING HIDDEN GEM IN NEW YORK CITY !

    This hotel is AMAZING! The location, staff, breakfast, roof top bar in New York City was a very pleasant surprise on my recent stay in October. My sisters and i decided to get away for a few days and we wanted a place close to Penn Station since we were all traveling by train/plane to and from different cities. Hotel is new, very clean and modern and the rooms large in size compared to other hotels I have stayed at in New York City. You can walk to the Theater District, Broadway, Times Square and the Chelsea Market and Penn Station is only 1 block away (you would never know it).
    There is a spectacular roof top bar with AMAZING panoramic views of the city, especially at night - during our stay drinks were only $5.00 which again is an AMAZING price for New York City.
    The staff was very helpful and we encountered Caren Heller during our visit. Caren is AMAZING! She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and even stopped by breakfast (which is included with your stay) to check on guests and make sure everything was satisfactory and if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. This is not your ordinary Fairfield Inn - I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
