“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

Taking the first few steps into the restaurant, it's not at all evident that you are in for a treat - this is a place you come to for great food, not a romantic dinner - unless the two of you are looking for great food.

The restaurant is small - which is why you should make reservations if you want to get a table. Seating is almost family style.

Service was excellent, attentive, well informed, caring and personal. Any and all questions about the menu are answered, and _please_ listen to the recommendations!

We sampled multiple excellent dishes (from Palak Paneer, to Avocado Chicken Kabab) but the one you should not miss is the Shrimp Moiley. Not only were the shrimp devine, but we licked the bottom of the bowl for the last few drops of the sauce (or you can use Naan, Parantha, Rice, or anything else).

The home made chutney is delectable and came in three distinct and enticing flavors.

I'm not a big fan of Indian desserts, but I gave in to my children and we tried the Gulab Jamun (very very good) and the Coconut Caramel (outstanding).

Wine selection and pricing is very reasonable, including a respectable collection of half bottles.

We will certainly be visiting again the next time we are in the city.

“Very good Indian”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

Second day of our honeymoon, me and my wife went to Spice Symphony with no reservation around 9PM.

Got seated right away, and i ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and my wife the Chicken Tikka Masala, as side we ordered garlic naan and raita.

Took about 15-20 min untill we got our food and as a chef myself i think thats is within the acceptable timelimit.

The flavours were really nice. Spicy and fragrant, the rice were cooked with cumminpods.

The naan and raita were great too, only thing i would like to see more off, is vegetables roughly chopped and mixed into the diffrent currys, then would u get a nice crunchy feel to the curry sauce and meat.

All in all it was really good flavours, the staff was very helpfuel and the place itself was small and intimated.

I will be back someday.

“Great food lousy service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014

Food was wonderful, but the service was probably the worst we have had in any restaurant in years. We repeatedly had to ask for drinks, salt, other condiments. The appetizer took a full 40 minutes from ordering until delivery. The main course was also much delayed. Still the food was so good, we might go back, but not soon.

“Decent Indian food on the block”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2014

We've been here for lunch. It was busy, but we managed to get a table. The food was decent. Food didn't taste like Americanized Indian food. Service was great.

Try their parantha's, they are soft and yum. Also, don't miss their spinach chaat.

All in all I wouldn't say it's the best Indian food, but it's definitely a decent place for lunch.
