Taking the first few steps into the restaurant, it's not at all evident that you are in for a treat - this is a place you come to for great food, not a romantic dinner - unless the two of you are looking for great food.
The restaurant is small - which is why you should make reservations if you want to get a table. Seating is almost family style.
Service was excellent, attentive, well informed, caring and personal. Any and all questions about the menu are answered, and _please_ listen to the recommendations!
We sampled multiple excellent dishes (from Palak Paneer, to Avocado Chicken Kabab) but the one you should not miss is the Shrimp Moiley. Not only were the shrimp devine, but we licked the bottom of the bowl for the last few drops of the sauce (or you can use Naan, Parantha, Rice, or anything else).
The home made chutney is delectable and came in three distinct and enticing flavors.
I'm not a big fan of Indian desserts, but I gave in to my children and we tried the Gulab Jamun (very very good) and the Coconut Caramel (outstanding).
Wine selection and pricing is very reasonable, including a respectable collection of half bottles.
We will certainly be visiting again the next time we are in the city.
