We were in town for the US Open and could not have been more pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff were pleasant. The price was reasonable (by New York standards) and the location was very convenient. The rooms were modern and nice and had been recently redone (Kohler fixtures, etc.). We were upgraded to a larger room which had a kitchenette and a balcony that included a view of the Chrysler Building. I would definitely stay here again when in New York City. Great breakfast included. There was a workout area we did not use.
