I called in advance and was put in the system for an early check in. Arrived they said it was as available and many people were going to check in before me. We waited up to an hour before the normal check in time to get a room. The room was horribly small, the bathroom door was a sliding closet door with no lock. The room was very expensive for what you paid. Breakfast area was overly packed and the staff's friendliness in the breakfast area was hit or miss. Front desk was courteous. Location was close to lots of NYC sights

Room Tip: Nice views, higher rooms were small and impossible to get an elevator at times because they were always packed

Great staff, great location and good value for what you pay. Walking distance from most of the mid town sites, 2 blocks from Grand Central Station and shopping areas. One step from the United Nations headquarters.

This hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is excellent. We used the digital check-in which allowed us to choose our room and get a digital key via my phone. We were able to store our luggage upon check out too since we weren't leaving the city immediately upon check out.

The room was very clean, and of adequate size for NYC. All of the staff were welcoming and pleasant - front desk staff and dining room staff. However, the breakfast left a lot to be desired. The oatmeal was watery, the bacon dripping in grease. Few bagel choice or availability. Other than bagels, small donuts - not very healthy. The orange juice was watered down, and not refilled quick enough. Potatoes were not edible. The coffee availability at night - cold and old. Few cookies in the lobby in the evening.

Stayed in this hotel for a week with 3 teens. Location was super. Near subway lines and grand central station. Lots of great restaurants in the near vicinity. Rooms were not huge, but it's NYC so they were as expected. Rooms were clean and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast included each morning too! Easy walking distance to all in midtown. Quiet location when sleeping. Actually one of the best I've experienced in NYC. We had a room on the back side of the hotel. So no view but quiet. A really good experience in all.
