Front desk staff were outstanding! Victor, Tenzing, and others whose names we did not catch. Friendly and helpful, specifically re our inquiries re restaurants, theater, and getting around.

Our stay was subpar from previous times. Front desk at check in forgot to change my checkout date. Luckily I was not charged for another night. The boiler went out so we had no hot water for half a day. Food was okay. Rooms are always clean. Just an average stay for the price.

Had to change rooms 2 times and 3 room had a horrible mattress with cleaning woman's hair on the sheets. Complained and got no help at all. Paid $419+ tax per night for a completely horrible experience. Paper thin walls, staff that does not care about guest comfort.

Outstanding service and ideal location in the heart of it all. Steps from Union Square and all the public transport you need. Restaurants, bars and venues of the Lowe East Side are all accessible. Perfect for families and couples looking for easy access and excitement

My wife and I visited our son recently in NYC. We picked this hotel because of its location. It was not the least expensive hotel, but it was perfect for our stay. Our room was small but well appointed. Hotel staff was very friendly. Library Bar at the hotel was outstanding and very comfortable. We plan on staying there at our next trip to NYC.

Overall a solid hotel. Clean and efficient stay. Rooms are small but so is everything in NYC due to space. Food not included with stay so be prepared to spend money on breakfast; that said there are plenty of local options available.
