Great location and very friendly staff. The room was small but efficiently designed. We heard some noise through the windows at night, but it's New York, so nothing unusal. The hotel is fairly new.... opened this year. The mattresses are new Sealy posturpedics, but for some unknown reason I did not find them to be the most comfortable. Also, I regret not asking for hypoallergenic pillows instead of the uncomfortable goose down pillows that were on the bed. The place was extremely clean. As a side note, I did not care for the bar downstairs called Singl. While it was attractive and trendy, the prices are outrageous. After seeing a Broadway show, my partner and I thought we'd have a glass of wine before retiring. We got there about 11:30 and the attendant told us that they were serving "last call", so we said we'd just have a glass of chardonnay and cabernet, but thankfully I inquired "how much" prior to her getting the wine. She said the cabernet was $48! I then replied that we only wanted a glass, not a bottle, and she said "that is the price for a glass". We canceled the order and left without our glass of wine.
