Description: A neighborhood restaurant with locally inspired American cuisine featuring international accents, in particular Mediterranean and Asian flavors. The name reflects the four partners, including Executive Chef Jason Avery and Sommelier Hakan Aktas, who have pooled their expertise to create a relaxed, cozy restaurant where food, beverage, and service are taken seriously. Ours is a place to savor fine wines and memorable beers while dining on modestly priced food presented with crisp, clean flavors with a touch of whimsy.

I haven't even left this gem and I'm writing a review... I can't wait to come back and I'm still waiting for desert! A menu you've never seem before and flavors that are divine. The preparation is perfect and the owner Jason will come out from the kitchen to please. Do not miss this Village treasure . I love it!

“Thrilled to have this creative and welcoming restaurant in the neighborhood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

The menu alone transports one to so many culture and flavors. Having now dined here twice in its first week of operation, and having indulged in many different offerings, our first word of advice is...go soon while you can still get a table in this remarkable pint-sized bistro.
The menu offers a myriad of ways to dine, at whatever level of hunger and interest you may have. To begin with, there are several different tiny crostini with tasty toppings including a creamy hummus with broccoli and another with an unusual beef topping. We had a scrumptious beet purée with goat cheese and nuts. One wonderful appetizer was a smoked tomato soup with mini grilled cheese sandwiches, and another was bacon wrapped mushrooms. There are Turkish sausage "lollipops", served in small glass containers on skewers....like....lollipops!?
It seems to us that the innovative nature of the kitchen throws together a wide range of flavors from different cuisines....mussels with a ginger cream sauce ( we agreed we could just order the sauce by itself); wild salmon with seaweed noodles, Thai basil, cilantro, scallions, pickled shiitake and sesame creating a riotous blending of flavors. We also had a succulent hake( like a cod) with braised kale, chanterelle mushrooms, and a lobster Chardonnay butter. We also loved pappardelle with carmelized salsify oyster mushrooms, local pumpkin, and brown butter.
For our part of Greenwich Village, full of a myriad of restaurants, we are so happy to have this new taste haven, where we have yet to find a dish we have not enjoyed. We feel confident based on what we have tasted thus far, that there are only many other surprising and mouth watering combinations.
The ambience is cozy, with floor to ceiling windows looking out on to the world. The first evening we dined, we ate outside, and just enjoyed the relaxed environment. The owners and wait staff could not be more professional and yet remarkably informative and responsive.
We came one evening with friends and the second ith a foodie niece. We all loved it.
Just a terrific place.
